Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences has started academic activities in 2018-2019 with three departments: Business Administration, Economics and Management Information System. Now, with the opening of the Department of International Trade and Business, our faculty continues its academic activities with four departments.
The idea that came to the fore in the structuring of the faculty was the focusing on “special” defined areas rather than “generalists”. In this respect, the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences has prioritized the areas such as entrepreneurship, international business, international economics, informatics, behavioral economics and finance. With this approach, it is aimed that the graduates of the faculty have the required capabilities for both the private and the public sector. As a university and faculty, necessary works are being carried out for the students to realize their academic activities in environments with modern equipments. In the last stage, it is aimed that the graduates of the faculty will be different from others with their special professional skills, high awareness to understand the country and the world and their international orientation.
Our faculty has enough class and lecture halls to teach 695 students at the same time. In addition, it has a library with 39,793 materials and 7,807 periodicals, two computer laboratories with 120 computers in total, one psychtechnical laboratory and one experimental economy laboratory. Also, our faculty provides a 150-seat cinema hall, a conference hall for 600 people, a football field, an outdoor and an indoor basketball court, a tennis court, two cafes and a cafeteria, providing all the social facilities the students need.
Our faculty provides a high-quality education to its students with 8 professors, 5 associate professors, 13 assistant professors, 8 research assistants and 1 instructor.
